The JAMA dedicated their entire issue,
(November 11, 1998) to integrative and alternative cancer treatment modalities,
because of the wide interest among the general population.
In the Journal of Clinical Oncology a
recent study found that 83% of cancer patients had used at least one CAM therapy
as part of their treatment regimen. (Journal National Cancer Institute, Vol 93,
No 15, August 1, 2001).
Findings in an ongoing study were presented at
the 11th International Congress on Women’s Health about the three main reasons
more than two-thirds of cancer patients don’t disclose to their doctor
complementary treatments they are using. Primarily, women sense that physicians
are disinterested, they will have a negative reaction, and they believe that
physicians have inadequate training in or bias toward complementary or
alternative medicine. (Medical Tribune, January 27, 2000).
Research by Dr. Marco Rabinovitz of the
National Cancer Institute reports amino acid deprivation combined with
chemotherapy is beneficial in treating cancer. (Journal of the National Cancer
Institute, Vol 87, No 2, January 18, 1995). Unfortunately, there is no drug
available today to create the same response. However, there is an integrative
amino acid deprivation protocol, Controlled Amino Acid Therapy
(CAAT).

Dr. Chi Van Dang, Johns Hopkins School
of Medicine and many other Doctors and institutions report that a low
carbohydrate diet can KILL cancer cells. Controlled Amino Acid Therapy is also
an integrative carbohydrate deprivation protocol.
As an Oncologist, you are committed to
treating each patient with the latest cutting edge tools. CAAT is an
integrative, cutting edge, bio-nutritional treatment protocol which we believe
will help you to better help your patients.
Unlike the two-thirds of cancer
patients who do not disclose to their doctor the complementary treatments they
are using as part of their treatment regimen, patients wishing to enroll in CAAT
are directed to speak with their doctor about including it in their treatment
plan before they are allowed to enroll.
CAAT works synergistically with and
enhances chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy to arrest the growth of tumors
and cause them to regress by altering or impairing the development of cancer
cells. CAAT does this by interfering with the five basic requirements of cell
formation. Moreover, it has also been proven to be effective alone.
